How to Sell a Local Market Item
List a physical good — new, used, vintage, or handmade — and start selling.
Go to Create Listing
Sign in and go to My Account → Create Listing. Select "Market (Items)" as your listing type.
Choose your category and condition
Pick the parent category (e.g. Clothing, Electronics) and subcategory. Select the item condition: New, Used, Refurbished, or Handmade.
Write a great title and description
Be specific in your title — "Handmade ceramic mug, 12oz, blue glaze" sells better than just "Mug". Describe dimensions, condition, any defects, and why someone would want it.
Set your price
Enter your asking price. Think about what you'd actually accept — buyers can message you to negotiate. Your first listing is free; after that, a one-time $0.50 listing fee is charged when you publish.
Set delivery options
Choose whether you offer local pickup, shipping, or both. If you ship, pick which flat-rate options to offer (Standard, Express, and more) and whether you ship internationally — buyers choose one at checkout, and shipping is added to the order total.
Add photos
Upload clear, well-lit photos of your item. The first photo is your cover image. You can add up to 5 photos. Listings with multiple photos get significantly more views.
Publish your listing
Review your listing and click "Create listing". Your item is live immediately and visible to all buyers on StoneFjord.
Manage your orders
When a buyer purchases your item, you'll receive an email notification. Go to My Account → My Sales to view the order, update its status, and message the buyer.
You're all set!
